All the best snaps from Anfield as second-half goals from Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah gave Liverpool a 2-1 win over Tottenham.

Jurgen Klopp made three changes to the side that beat Genk 4-1 in the Champions League in midweek. Trent Alexander-Arnold returned from injury whilst Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum came into midfield.

Spurs made the perfect start to the game as Heung-min Son's deflected effort hit the underside of the bar and fell to Harry Kane, who headed home past Alisson to make it 1-0 to the visitors.

It took the Reds until after half-time to claw back level as Fabinho’s lofted ball into the box was met by Henderson, with the Reds captain finishing with a left-footed half volley to score his first home goal since December 2015.

With a little over 15 minutes to go, Sadio Mane was brought down in the box by Serge Aurier, with Mohamed Salah slamming home the penalty to hand the Reds a 2-1 win.

The victory ensured Liverpool maintain a six-point advantage over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table. Klopp’s side are in League Cup action against Arsenal in midweek before facing Aston Villa on Saturday.
