The Reds overcame the challenge of a tricky away trip to Burnley on Wednesday night with a 3-1 victory that saw them set a new club record for most points gained (39) at this stage of a league season.
Jurgen Klopp's side are back in action just three days later as they look to continue their unbeaten run in the league with a fifth successive victory.
A visit to the south coast to face Bournemouth will be another stern test for Liverpool, with the cliche of these types of fixtures showing a team's true title credentials ringing true.

Victory against Eddie Howe's side will mean the Reds will top the Premier League table, at least for a few hours, with Manchester City travelling to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea later in the day.
Howe has done a fantastic job at the Cherries so far, with Bournemouth sitting in seventh place. They have won just one of their last five league games, however, so this may prove to be a good time to face them.
With Napoli and Manchester United to come in the following week, a win here would be extremely satisfying to take in to those two huge fixtures.

The Reds boss rested a whole host of players in Wednesday's trip to Turf Moor and it is expected that the majority of those should come back in to the side.
They will be without Joe Gomez however, the England international is sidelined for six weeks after fracturing his leg in midweek.
Dejan Lovren (concussion), Dominic Solanke (knock) and Nathaniel Clyne (knock) are all ruled out whilst Sadio Mane, who suffered a cut foot in the Merseyside derby, has travelled with the squad although he remains a major doubt.
Mane only returned to training on Friday, with Klopp admitting that it is unlikely the Senegal international will be risked. Xherdan Shaqiri could continue in a starting role in his absence after scoring against Burnley.
The boss also confirmed Andy Robertson (dead leg) and Gini Wijnaldum are "fine", with at least the former expected to return from the off.
It will be interesting to see how the midfield shapes up, with Wednesday's starters Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Naby Keita all vying for a start as well as Fabinho and Wijnaldum.
Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi led the line on that occasion, however it will be a big surprise if Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are not drafted back in.
