As the season inches closer, Liverpool have embarked on the second leg of their pre-season tour. After securing a win and a draw in Germany, the Reds have landed in Singapore for a pair of fixtures. To that end, Jürgen Klopp has named his 27-man roster for matches against Leicester City (July 30) and Bayern Munich on August 2nd.
The pre-season roster keeps shrinking. For the two games in Germany, 32 players made the trip. That number is down to 27. Fabinho is still absent which makes me wonder if a transfer is in his future. There are 19 players on this roster that saw playing time at the Senior level a year ago, so this roster could be very close to the one Klopp uses vs Chelsea to open Premier League play on August 13th.
